Aarti and Sarin’s South Asian wedding at Oheka Castle was one we will not easily forget. We got the opportunity to work with our friend, the wonderful Susan Stripling, and admired the impecable job Lindsay Landman did with the decor and planning the entire event.
Aarti and Sarin were just so easy and fun to work with. They completely trusted our vision and allowed us to do what we do best. We carefully filmed every moment to capture the pure emotion of the day, starting with the bride’s getting ready and finishing with the spectacular fire works show at the end of the night.
South Asian Weddings are probably some of the hardest to film with many things happening at once. With everything being right on schedule thanks to Lindsay Landman, we were able to plan our timing and have some fun with DJI Quadcopter. We were able to capture the approaching groom on a horse and his Baraat.
Both families were very friendly and warm. The speech done by the bride’s father was one of the more emotional ones we have heard especially the tender moment when he said “My Angel is getting ready to fly” bringing Sarin to tears.
I am grateful for having been there to film this wonderful, emotional, colorful and…. a filmmaker’s paradise of a wedding.
