The beginning of the year is usually a quieter time for weddings in NY. When Ali reached out to us about filming his wedding at Oheka Castle in the middle of February, we were smitten with the idea of seeing the english garden covered with snow. Little did we know, the night before their wedding, Long Island was hit with yet another of the many snow storms that winter. Temperatures dropped to a freezing 8F. We begun the day with filming Guzey’s preps. Her warmth and hospitality created such a warm aura that we all forgot about cold outside. Susan Stripling, who was their photographer, only asked the bride once if she would be willing to step outside for a quick photo. The couple was such a pleasure to work with. They were troopers to stick it out in the cold and snow but boy oh boy was it worth it. This is just a trailer because we loved every bit of their day so much we had to create a little snippet before we headed out to a destination wedding in Mexico to warm our hearts.
Jessica and Anthony were married at historic Lyndhurst mansion in Tarrytown, NY. We loved filming this beautiful wedding at the end of a hot summer. Their ceremony was just before the sunset for the day and we were able to capture some super amazing warm colors. We love playing with lights and creating drama in our films. Hope you enjoy this one!
We are always truly grateful for the couples we meet and get to work with. Here is another beautiful South Asian Wedding at Oheka Castle.
