Central Park Shakespeare Garden Wedding

Meet Rachel and Spenser who got married in Central Park at the Shakespeare Garden. A truly amazing, happy and such a pleasure to be around couple. I first contacted by Spenser’s mom a couple of weeks before the actual wedding ceremony. She called and with her splendid North Carolina accent explained that she was looking for someone to cover the couple’s ceremony. They were traveling in from North Carolina and wanted to get married in Central Park. It was to be just a quick one person shoot for a few hours. Having been used to covering all weddings with a team of 2 other shooters, I was excited about the idea of having to film on my own. This allowed for more intimacy between me and the couple. They were able to relax more having been surrounded by just a few people while getting ready and it gave me a chance to get to know them better.

I decided to begin the film with some aerial NYC skyline shots and setting the scene for the lovely ceremony.

Aerial Wedding Cinematography

We are always looking for different ways to revamp our work and to improve the end product for our couples. We have added aerial cinematography to our gadget list. Aerial cinematography provides a very cinematic look in your wedding film.

We have always wanted a new perspective in our films, flying a Quadcopter, allows us to go up high to get an aerial view of either the ceremony sight, the reception location, in a way that was not possible before.

Aerial Cinematography is included in some of our packages and here are a few things to consider:
– We cannot fly in rain or snow as well as very windy conditions.
– The final decision of whether it is safe to fly will be made by the cinema director the day of the wedding.
– The timeline for your wedding day might need to be adjusted to give sufficient time to film with the Quadcopter.
– We do not fly inside venues.

Enjoy this short compilation featuring some places we worked at recently and the aerial footage we came away with.

How incredible does Central Park look from all the way up here? For those of our couples who got married at The Met Club or the Essex House or The Plaza Hotel, this is a must have shot.

NY 3 day South Asian Wedding Trailer

We were so excited to be given the opportunity to capture this couple’s South Asian Epic 3 day wedding. Having been given complete freedom to execute our vision, we knew we would come away with some amazing footage. We were even more excited to find out that the couple shared our love for super cinematic aerial shots. The Quadcopter Phantom is something we have decided to add recently to the itinerary of our gear and our clients love it.

The 3 day long festivities started with the Sangeet on a cruise around Manhattan. The ceremony happened right by the water at  Chateau La Mer and finally the reception at Long Island’s The Sterling.
